Re the Super Bowl, we usually have it on quietly in the background, watching the occasional commercials. We definitely want to watch Bad Bunny. Don’t really care about the game itself, but we’ll be rooting for the Seahawks. I’m more of a baseball, soccer and cycling fan.
The slider recipe looks good! I'm going to have to try it. If i can find jackfruit at the store. Prolly can. They seem to have expanded their selections a bit.

A few days ago, I asked the husband who was playing. After he told me, I remembered something about the Patriots being cheaters or something, so I hope the Seahawks win. Otherwise, I'll be inside, trying to stay warm. It didn't get above 17 degrees here today, and it was WINDY. It's been so windy lately. We get a few days off, and here it comes back again.
Try to explain to your dog why you can't go outside to play in this bullshit.
We got about 18 inches of snow a week or so ago, but then that shit froze solid with the arctic-like temperatures. I can barely walk across the yard to fill the bird feeders. Tried busting through it, throwing my whole ass into it. It's just too hard, and it hurts. I might have to hire me a guy to make a couple paths for me to reach the bird feeder and the bird bath (I have a heater in it). The critters are having a hard time and I don't know what else to do for them.
Anyhow, that's part of how I distract myself from the "news," which only upsets me. I feed the birds, watch YouTube videos, read recipes, try to explain frostbite to my dog, cut up boxes for recycling. I use them as mulch, and it helps get out some frustrations. A simple life.

The commercials were boring for the most part this year. Nothing like previous years. But Bad Bunny was great!
