Hey Pot Heads,

Today isn’t a recipe week so I thought we’d do a little something different. We’ve got people from all over the world here at Stir the Pot but a majority of us are in North American, and specifically the US. With all the madness around extreme tariffs, reduced support for farmers, climate change, and you know, whatever other insanity I can’t possible predict I thought it might be helpful if we talked about what we should be buying in bulk in case pricing goes fully bananas. I’m not in the business of telling the future, but I think having a kitchen full of staple goods would make lots of us feel a little more in control of what is most certainly an out of control situation. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have the kind of budget to absorb a 400% price increase on ANYTHING so I’d like a head start if we see anything happen with pricing like we did in 2020. So here is a little run-down of what I am trying to stock up on without spending a tons of cash in process. I want to hear your suggestions and thoughts in the comments. We’ve got to help each other out.
